Dantex shows innovations in PicoJet DRS at Labelexpo Americas 2024

Dantex Group will display advancements in the company’s PicoJet Digital Resolution System (DRS) with the latest enhancements in color gamut capabilities at Labelexpo Americas 2024 at booth #6129. 

Featuring 8 grey levels and providing 2,400 DPI, the system marks the first time in the industry that a digital inkjet system has reached this level of precision, according to the company. The technology significantly increases print quality and detail. The proprietary technology is owned exclusively by Dantex. 

In addition to the PicoJet DRS developments, Dantex will also reveal its latest advancements in color gamut. Dantex has achieved 99 percent of the color gamut with a Delta E of 3, ensuring color accuracy and consistency. With a Delta E of 2, the company continues to push the boundaries of color precision, covering 97.5 percent of the color gamut. Utilizing CMYK WOVG, Dantex’s 8-colour printing press achieves high color accuracy due to the powerful software suite, which when combined with Dantex’s unique printing technologies creates high-quality result that embodies UV digital inkjet label printing. 

With Dantex’s PicoJet 1200 digital inkjet technology set to be a highlight at Labelexpo Americas, attendees can look forward to live demonstrations that showcase the print quality and versatility of the press. This highly productive and cost-effective printing press is ideal for short to long runs with no minimum quantity, minimal waste and fast turnaround times. The modular design is available as either reel-to-reel or a true hybrid press with inline finishing capabilities. Modular station options include flexo, die-cut, cold foil, lamination, edge trim, back scoring and rotary or shear slitting. In addition, PicoCenta and PicoPilot workflow automation software with a touchscreen interface add to a user-friendly experience. Customers can also benefit from Pico’s SuperWhite, offering inkjet white at an opacity of 92 percent in a single pass, as well as SuperText and SuperTactile technologies.  

To complete its offering, the Dantex team will also be on hand to promote their extensive range of plate processing and cleaning equipment, letterpress and flexo plate materials, along with tapes and sleeves.
