Grafpress invests in Screen Truepress Label 350UV SAI-S
The investment is supported by the EU’s innovation solutions grant, an initiative to foster growth and sustainability across three countries.

Olkusz, Poland-based label printer Grafpress, has invested in a Screen Truepress Label 350UV SAI-S digital label press to digitalize label production. For over 15 years, the company has delivered labels for clients across the globe to enhance product visibility and strengthen brand identity.
'Innovation has always been at the heart of our growth,' said Łukasz Kajda, owner of Grafpress. 'With a stable, motivated team and a commitment to modernization, we’ve built a reputation for quality label production that distinguishes us in the Polish market. To maintain that hard-earned reputation as we continue expanding, adding Screen’s advanced printing technology with a Truepress Label 350UV SAI-S digital label press reinforces our ability to meet client demands with the highest standards of efficiency and excellence.'
Grafpress’s investment is supported by the EU’s innovation solutions grant, a one-time initiative to foster growth and sustainability across three countries. Securing the grant requires demonstrating the acquisition of advanced technology capable of transforming operations.
'The application process was streamlined thanks to the guidance of Paweł Szarubka, Screen’s local inkjet printing partner Reprograf Grafikus's representative,' Kajda explained. 'Unlike external grant offices, Paweł’s expertise in the printing industry made it easy to showcase how Screen’s innovative machinery would elevate our capabilities. His support was invaluable in helping us qualify for this opportunity that enabled this investment.'
Digitalization has become a cornerstone of Grafpress’s strategy to remain competitive and drive growth in the Polish printing sector. 'The press has transformed our workflow,' Kajda noted. 'Inkjet printing is two to three times cheaper than toner, significantly reducing costs, and the output quality is outstanding. Unlike other inkjet presses, samples produced by Screen’s prints were smooth and free from visible lines. The results spoke for themselves. And thus, the decision to invest in Screen was a simple one.'
By embracing Screen’s advanced inkjet technology, Grafpress has transformed its operations, delivering immediate benefits and growing demands for production speed, print quality, and workflow reliability.
'The Screen press has revolutionized our processes,' said Kajda. 'We no longer need an additional coating to prevent smudging, which simplifies production and reduces cost while producing high-quality labels, far exceeding our previous capabilities. This has allowed us to offer our clients more tailored and competitive options.'
As the EU continues to drive digitalization within the printing industry, Grafpress can lead this rapidly emerging market by adopting advanced digital technology. 'We strive to maintain our client base through long-term collaboration, meeting deadlines, and upholding quality standards. By investing in Screen’s reliable and cutting-edge Japanese technology, we’ve strengthened our foundation for sustainable growth.'
As per the company, its partnership with Screen ensures that it remains at the forefront of the market, delivering high-quality results and building trust with clients through consistent performance while remaining ready to adapt to the future of label printing with confidence and success.
