Marque TDI changes name to Domino Portugal

The company celebrates 30th anniversary distributing printing equipment on the Portuguese market.

After three decades of trading as Marque TDI on the Portuguese market and distributing Domino Printing Sciences equipment, the comp any officially changed its name to Domino Portugal.

Founded in 1994, Marque TDI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Domino in 2009. The company is now a trusted partner in the Portuguese market, leading the distribution, sales and service of Domino’s technologies. The management team, led by brothers Henrique and Ricardo Gonçalves, has seen significant success in Europe as part of Domino, taking over management of Domino Spain in 2022.

‘While we are changing our name, we will maintain our unwavering focus on our manufacturing customers, and on delivering quality and reliability. We believe our 30th anniversary is a fantastic opportunity to align ourselves fully as part of the Domino brand, and to reflect the company’s expertise, and commitment to help customers reduce downtime and operational waste, adopt new more sustainable materials and processes, and prepare for industry-changing technology shifts,’ said Henrique Gonçalves and Ricardo Gonçalves, general managers of Domino Portugal.

The company, which has a team of around 80 employees, specializes in coding and marking and claims it has approximately 65 percent market share in Portugal.

‘Domino’s values of collaboration, listening, expertise, ambition and responsibility will continue to be present in our attitudes and commitment,’ added the management.

In recognition of the anniversary and name change, the company hosted a party at its headquarters in the Industrial Zone of Maia.

‘We are happy to celebrate this important and memorable date, and there is nothing better than having our loyal customers, employees, suppliers, and friends by our side who have been with us on this journey,’ said the managers. ‘We look forward to many more successful years working together.’

Robert Pulford, CEO of Domino Printing Sciences, added: ‘Today we celebrate 30 years of success, growth, and collaboration with Domino Portugal. We are very pleased to mark this momentous occasion with our Portuguese colleagues, and to recognize the value that they have brought to our customers, in Portugal, and the Iberian region, and to the Domino Group as a whole.’
