RR Donnelley joins EFI for Connect 2015
RR Donnelley & Sons president and chief executive officer (CEO) Thomas J. Quinlan III has joined the program for the next EFI Connect users’ conference, taking place January 20-23 at The Wynn Las Vegas.
RR Donnelley is a global graphic communications firm, with annual revenues of nearly 11.5 billion USD and more than 500 locations around the world. The company is also one of the largest users of EFI’s products, with hundreds of EFI MIS/ERP and web-to-print software, EFI Fiery print server and EFI VUTEk superwide format printer installations across its global locations.
Quinlan, a veteran print executive, joined RR Donnelley in February 2004 as an executive vice-president after serving in a succession of senior executive management roles at Moore Wallace.
Quinlan will take part in a “fireside chat” on the morning of January 21, and joins a program that includes 3D print specialist Avi Reichental, president and CEO of 3D Systems.
His keynote will provide attendees with his unique leadership perspective on the printing industry, the future of print, and RR Donnelley’s strategic positioning for short- and long-term success. The discussion will also cover consolidation in the industry, offering Quinlan’s insight as an executive who has participated in some of the largest printing company acquisitions ever completed.
EFI CEO Guy Gecht said: ‘It will be a privilege to hear from the chief executive of a legendary organization that has thrived over its 150-year history and continues to lead as the largest company in our industry.
‘Connect attendees will be inspired to hear Tom’s personal and professional story and learn how both he and RR Donnelley have been able to adapt as the industry goes through significant changes.’
