Drent Goebel Open House showcases variable sleeve offset system

Drent Goebel is to host an open house to demonstrate its variables sleeve offset (VSOP) technology on a customer machine.

Before the new VSOP press (variable sleeve offset printing press) is shipped to its final user, Drent Goebel will reserve three full demonstration days on the press, allowing converters to check print quality, print stability and changeover times.

Project partner Pchiney, France will continue print trails during these three days. Together with ‘TNO Nutrition and Food Research’, Drent Goebel is now at the stage of patenting its printing process on any food packaging substrate, flexibles included.

During the October open days the VSOP will print various 6-colour batches on flexible transparent OPP substrate, folding carton and self-adhesive label stock. Demo’s will start from 09.00 o’clock in the morning and continue till the end off each day. Specific reservation is not necessary. Demonstration times are:

* Tuesday 14th October 2003 from 09.00 till 18.00 hours
* Wednesday 15th October 2003 from 09.00 till 18.00 hours
* Thursday 16th October 2003 from 09.00 till 18.00 hours
