EDI buys Premier Dies

Extrusion Dies Industries (EDI), a portfolio company of Bertram Capital, has acquired Premier Dies Corporation, a provider of slot coating and flat polymer extrusion dies, in a move that is set to grow the position of both companies.
 
EDI specializes in the design and manufacture of die heads, multilayer adapters, and related auxiliary equipment for various markets, including automotive, food packaging and disposables, building and construction, durable goods, medical, transportation, and sustainable energy systems such as photovoltaics and batteries. Premier Dies is a supplier of liquid and emulsion coating equipment and systems for web coating applications. Equipment typically supplied includes single and multi-layer slot dies, slide dies, curtain coating dies, die positioning systems, fluid delivery systems, vacuum systems, filtration systems and supporting auxiliary equipment. In addition, the company supplies a wide variety of specialized extrusion dies for polymer processing into film, sheet and strands in pelletizing applications
