Tecnocut introduces CSU - Compact Slitting Unit

The stand-alone slitting unit can be equipped with either rotary or razor blades.

Tecnocut has launched the CSU - Compact Slitting Unit. This product is designed to optimize and make production lines flexible, offering a versatile slitting technology that can integrate into any rotary machine location. 

The CSU - Compact Slitting Unit is a stand-alone slitting unit offers simple assembly and adaptability. It can be equipped with either rotary or razor blades, allowing to make precise longitudinal cuts or longitudinal perforations. Thanks to its exchangeable design, the blades can be adjusted to perform full cut (die-cut) or half cut (kiss-cut), depending on the customer's specific needs. 

Franc Estrada, chief engineer officer at Tecnocut, said: ‘Our goal with the CSU is to offer our customers a tool that not only improves the efficiency of their production lines, but also gives them the flexibility to adapt to different cutting requirements.’ 

Since its launch, several units of the CSU - Compact Slitting Unit have already been marketed, significantly optimizing the production lines of the first customers who have tested it.
