Heidelberg will show its Linoprint digital inkjet unit at the Interpack expo in Dusseldorf from May 12th to the 18th (Hall 11 Stand E31).
‘Inkjet printing is rapidly gaining in importance for the packaging industry,’ said Heidelberg Board Member, Stephan Plenz. ‘Heidelberg has been investing in the development of industrial inkjet technology for many years, and Interpack will present an ideal opportunity to showcase sophisticated inkjet solutions for the packaging industry."
The Linoprint digital inkjet printing system offers brand owners, packaging producers, and filling companies a solution for a variety of applications in modern packaging production, where customized decoration and labeling play a key role alongside flexible substrate printing. At Interpack the focus will be on applications for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and manufacturing industries.
For pharmaceutical applications, Heidelberg will use the Linoprint Driveline B to demonstrate the many options available for printing on aluminum foil and label material, thus highlighting this machine's versatility.
‘Linoprint’s flexibility makes it possible to integrate digital printing into packaging lines,’ explained Daniel Dreyer, head of Linoprint at Heidelberg. ‘When integrating inkjet systems at customer sites, we factor in both the existing production environment and the inks and substrates to be used in our systems,’ he added.
