The Afinia DLF-220S digital label finisher integrated with the Epson ColorWorks C6500 color label printer empowers users to print vibrant, high-quality labels and to laminate, cut, slit and rewind in a single operation.

Utilizing the DLF-220S finisher in conjunction with the 1200 dpi Epson ColorWorks C6500 color label printer allows users to print labels up to eight inches wide, also offering the added advantage of label lamination for increased durability and scratch resistance. The solution, optimized for medium-volume labeling requirements and multiple label sizes and shapes, can handle a maximum media width of 225 mm and roll diameters up to 400 mm when paired with a buffering unit. In addition to transforming continuous-printed media into fully-finished labels, the DLF-220S offers the flexibility to cut labels of any shape or size with adaptable cut profiles for added versatility.

The solution is a digital label finisher paired with a color label printer, perfect for on-demand, medium labeling requirements. An additional buffering unit is required to ensure the label printer and finisher work in harmony. The buffering unit includes a table for the printer and a label roll holder for the master roll.

The compact finisher is designed for desktop use and performs multiple functions such as laminating, cutting, slitting and rewinding labels in one operation. It has a maximum media width of 225 mm and can accommodate rolls with a diameter of up to 400 mm when used with the buffering unit. The finisher can convert uncut, continuous-printed media into fully-finished labels and boasts ultra-precise cutting abilities, cutting labels to any shape and size. The cut profiles can be modified as often as needed, adding to its versatility.

The finisher also laminates labels to provide a protective coating for increased durability as well as increased scratch and scuff resistance. It boasts a cutting speed of 24 inches per second (600 mm per second).

The color label printer is compact, easy to use and produces high-quality prints at 1200 dpi resolution. It employs Epson's PrecisionCore CMYK pigment ink technology for crisp and vibrant results.
