Comexi opens Asia-Pacific hub in Bangkok

The new Comexi Asia-Pacific hub has a spare parts warehouse, sales team, and technical services

Comexi Asia-Pacific has opened a hub in Bangkok (Thailand). The hubs in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Monterrey (Mexico) will be forthcoming. 

Pau Xifra, chief transformation officer, said: ‘The opening of the Thailand hub is an important event in regard to the almost 70 years of Comexi's history. It is not only the inauguration of these offices, but it represents a pivotal moment to be increasingly present in the Asia Pacific. This is an emerging region that already has a capital weight in reference to the world economy; we want to achieve a leading position. Furthermore, it is a crucial milestone in the fruition of Comexi's Vision 2030, as it aligns with the strategy of being in close proximity to our customers and being able to offer them the best possible solutions and services.’

‘We will be able to respond with much more agility to the needs of our customers in Southeast Asia,’ explained Alexander Astudillo, area manager of Comexi in the region. 

The inauguration of the offices took place on June 15.  

Agustí Combis, Comexi's regional sales director in the Asia-Pacific area, acknowledged: ‘We are very proud and satisfied with the accomplished work. We are aware of the historical importance this event represents for Comexi, as well as the opportunity that it has presently created in the entire Asia-Pacific region.’ 

With the opening of this hub, Comexi pursues its strategic path: concentrating on customer service as well as adapting its portfolio and service to the specific needs of each market.
