Indian market striving for global quality – Omet
India is a ‘growing market’ with the country’s printers looking to ‘grow to global levels in quality’, said Omet sales area manager Paolo Grasso as the company prepares to exhibit again at Labelexpo India.

Omet will be present at the next instalment of the show, Labelexpo India 2014 taking place October 29 to November 1 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, with its local representative Weldon Celloplast. Its presence will include the XFlex X4 press, which was seen at Labelexpo India 2012, with three sold to Indian label printer so far – Seljegat in Sivakasi, Arunodaya Print Pack in Hyderabad and Unique Photo Offset in Mumbai.
Speaking ahead of the show, Grasso said: ‘We always look forward to exhibiting in India; it is a growing market and the printers wish to grow to global levels in quality. It encourages us to present to them our best technological offerings.’
Harveer Sahni, managing director Weldon Celloplast, added: ‘We are proud to bring the technically advanced Omet products to our Indian printers; they have in recent times proved that they are willing to invest in the best by opting for the highest end presses offered by Omet.’
