Nilpeter provides Clemson University with $1m flexo press
Nilpeter USA has gifted a one million USD flexo press to Clemson University’s College of Business to improve its nationally recognized Graphic Communications program.
Located in the Godfrey Hall building on the university's campus in Clemson, South Carolina, home to the Graphic Communications department, the servo-driven 13in FB-3 flexo press is capable of producing labels, folding cartons and flexible film. Its automation, efficiency, and advanced drive and registration systems provide students with important technology on which to learn.
The state-of-the-art flexo press will enable the university to build on its reputation as one of the nation’s leaders in printing and packaging design education by providing students with this cutting-edge teaching tool. Clemson University’s College of Business Graphic Communications program has long been recognized as a national leader in packaging design and printing education. Through such generous gifts as that from Nilpeter, Clemson University employs a hands-on approach to package design and printing education. The program boasts a 95 percent employment rate upon graduation.

Clements. ‘We appreciate, and are honored, that Nilpeter recognizes Clemson University as a leader in preparing high-calibre printing and packaging design professionals for the industry.’
Lars Eriksen, CEO and owner of Nilpeter, confirmed that his company is, ‘strongly committed to the education of the next generation of printers.

The Nilpeter gift is part of the university’s 10-year ‘The Will to Lead’ capital campaign, which concluded this year, surpassing its one billion USD goal.
