Print-ID invests in two Grafotronic DCL2 finishing machines

German label converter expands its production capacity with two additional, highly automated machines.

Germany-based label converter print-ID has invested in two additional highly automated finishing machines from Grafotronic to expand the production capacity and efficiency as it continues its growth.

Founded in 2003 by Johannes Hess and Sven Rühl, print-ID has continuously evolved and is now one of the leading companies in the label and card printing industry. With a clear focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, the company remains on an expansion course.

After successfully introducing two Grafotronic machines last year, which have become cornerstones of the company’s production strategy, print-ID decided to invest in two additional Grafotronic DCL2 machines.

This decision was made after the evaluation of the performance and automated functions of the existing Grafotronic machines.

The new machines will play a key role in the finishing of both pre-printed and blank rolls. Equipped with two rotary die-cutting units and Grafotronic's IQ automation package, the two new machines offer increased flexibility as well as unmatched speed and precision.

‘The expansion with Grafotronic machines number three and four is another milestone for us,’ said Sven Rühl, co-owner and managing director of print-ID. ‘Adding the two new Grafotronic DCL machines enable us to significantly increase our production capacity while further solidifying our position as a leading provider in the label printing industry.’

The investment decision was also based on the excellent support provided by Graficon Maschinenbau, Grafotronic's distribution partner in the DACH region.

‘The collaboration is exceptionally professional, solution-oriented, and the after-sales service works flawlessly,’ added Rühl.
