FPA Achievement Awards: call for entries

FPA Achievement Awards: call for entries

Flexible packaging converters have until November 21 to submit their entries for the Flexible Packaging Association’s (FPA’s) 2012 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards.

The FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards are open to any flexible packaging converter, as well as flexible packaging suppliers that have contributed to a package and have received approval from the converter, who may enter jointly with, or on behalf of, the converter.

Four categories will be represented at the 2012 awards: packaging excellence, technical innovation, sustainability and environmental achievement, and printing achievement. Three usage classifications are designated within each category: retail product package, institutional product package and industrial product package.

FPA members may enter an unlimited number of entries, with the first free and each subsequent package having a US$100 entry fee. Non-members may enter one package at a cost of US$500.

Prototypes are ineligible as only flexible packages, or flexible components of a rigid package, currently produced and sold in the market may be entered.

The winners will be announced on February 22, 2012.
