Kodak celebrates Russian success with installation in Moscow

Russia’s TampoMechanica, one of the largest production facilities of its kind in the country, has transformed its flexo platemaking operation after installing the Kodak processing technology at its Moscow repro center.  Beginning as a production and supply company, it now  offers consumables and equipment for general and specialist markets including flexo, letterpress, die stamping, screen, and digital.
 
An official event was organized to mark the installation of the new Kodak Flexcel NX System, which attracted a raft of packaging professionals.  Vladimir Kyslitsyn, TampoMechanica’s production director, emphasized the suitability of the Flexcel NX System for today’s production environment, highlighting its superior performance when producing flexo plates with a flat-topped dot structure.  The new technology has already had a positive impact on TampoMechanica’s customers, including well-known printers Danaflex and Artflex.
