Pro Carton to laud design students

Pro Carton will welcome all finalists, and their teachers, in the next instalment of its international design competition to next year’s Pro Carton/EMCA Congress.

Maria Pramberger's winning design in 2012 was intended to improve how to get a plaster quickly, effectively and hygienically

The Pro Carton Design Award is staged every two years and offers design students a hand in launching their careers by celebrating new, as yet unrealized design ideas in carton applications, presenting them to the public and potentially realizing them.

Entries are possible in two categories: cartonboard packaging and other uses of cartonboard, such as direct mail and PoS materials.

The deadline for entries to the Pro Carton Design Award is June 5, 2014.

All finalists and their teachers are cordially invited to the award ceremony at the Pro Carton/EMCA Congress 2014 in Sorrento, close to Naples, Italy, on September 18, and all travel costs will be paid by Pro Carton.

In addition, the winners from each category will be invited to spend a week at a renowned European packaging design agency, and attend a week of training together with the four runners-up as part of the European Pro Carton Academy.
