Schades Group acquires Hamilton Adhesive Labels

One of the European market leaders in paper rolls and labelling materials Schades Group, has acquired UK-based Hamilton Adhesive Labels to further diversify its product offering and strengthen its market position.

With multiple locations across Europe, Schades Group’s core business is the production, sales, marketing and distribution of plain and printed sustainable paper rolls, self-adhesive labels and food wrap.

The company is part of the Harbour Investment portfolio, which a one of the leading investors in the paper industry.

Hamilton Adhesive Labels, established in 1992, is one of the leading converters of printed and plain labels for the food, drink, industrial, automotive, personal and household care markets with its 45,000sqft manufacturing and warehousing facility centrally located in Bardon, Leicestershire, UK.

The acquisition is consistent with Harbour Investment’s long-term strategy to transform its business, diversify its product offering and strengthen its market position in the label manufacturing sector in the UK.
