MCC completes purchase of Flexcoat

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC), one of the largest label companies globally, has completed its acquisition of Flexcoat Autoadesivos, based in Louveira, Brazil. The purchase adds Flexcoat’s label and lamination operations to MCC’s existing South American portfolio.

Flexcoat is a family-owned label and lamination manufacturer with more than 50 years of experience providing products from self-adhesive labels to lids and liners. Flexcoat’s legacy customers include numerous household names in the food and beverage, home care, healthcare, pharmaceutical, hygiene, and automotive market segments.

MCC plans to invest further in expanding product offerings in Brazil. The acquisition gives Flexcoat’s customers access to a comprehensive product offering and a range of the latest label technologies.

With the purchase complete, both companies will now begin the process of integrating their businesses. Flexcoat’s facility in Brazil is now a part of Multi-Color Corporation, giving MCC a physical footprint in Brazil. All Flexcoat staff will transition to MCC.
