Kao Collins upgrades Universal Controller

Kao Collins has upgraded its Universal Controller to allow a single 9.3in X-BAR print module to print two 4.65in channels independently, marking a significant advancement in printing efficiency for high-speed industrial printing. 

Other functions include 180-degree image rotation on the fly, voltage changes and dithering on the fly and an ink estimate calculator.

The Universal Controller, compatible with various industrial inkjet print heads, is designed to streamline printing operations by eliminating the need for multiple controllers dedicated to different print head types.

‘We are excited to introduce these features to our Universal Controller, supporting our customers with enhanced printing capabilities and greater operational efficiency,’ commented Mike Johnson, hardware manager at Kao Collins.

Coming soon will also be the Universal Controller paired with a new print module capable of printing 600 x 600 DPI with longer throw distance for other industrial printing applications.
