Omet demonstrates flexible applications on X6 Offset

At Labelexpo Europe, Omet demonstrated film applications on its XFlex X6 flexo+offset press. The press can handle a wide range of film products including flexible packaging, shrink sleeves and IML labels. The XFlex X6 Offset 430mm (17’’) on show at Labelexpo was fitted with Omet’s latest Quick Change Die Cutting converting station.

Another X6 platform at the show incorporated Omet’s hybrid digital print unit, which can also be used for a wide range of package printing applications.

The XFlex X6 Digital is a 430mm (17’’) with the JetPlus 4-color digital inkjet unit allowing the addition of versioning or variable data. The press was fitted with UV LED curing, claimed by Omet to bring advantages in terms of energy consumption and overall performance, as well as making easier the handling of heat-sensitive films.
