Flexo printer Label Technology has named David Bankson as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Bankson currently serves as the company’s president and will succeed his father John Bankson, who is to remain as chairman of the company’s board of directors.

John Bankson said: ‘Dave has done an excellent job taking over the president role a little more than two years ago and I believe that 2014 is the right time to consolidate his place as leader of the company with the additional responsibilities of CEO.

‘With his leadership and extensive printing experience Label Technology is positioned for continued growth and success.’

David Bankson added: ‘I would like to thank JB for his hard work and dedication over the last 27 years. He has defined the company’s core values which influence and guide each Label Technology employee today.

‘I am excited to build on the strong foundation formed under his guidance as we face future challenges and opportunities.’
