New operations manager at technotrans

Technotrans has appointed Stuart Packer as operations manager of technotrans to bring experience of manufacturing, service, contract management and development to the company.

Commenting on his new position, Packer said: ‘Engineers should be the eyes and ears of the company and complement the work of the sales staff.  Sales and service must work closely together and our adoption of a SAP based administrative system underlines that.  Service staff now have easy and full access to both sales and service records making them well informed onsite, and armed to solve any issues arising.’

The UK is the first technotrans subsidiary to adopt the SAP system which will be rolled out globally over time.

technotrans has also appointed Suzanne Russell as financial controller.  She said: ‘technotrans is a great company and a new challenge for me.  I’ll be looking to make procedural enhancements as we implement the integrated computer system.’
