Pat Fairley passes away
Pat worked with Mike in the foundation of L&L and right through the merger with Clive Smith and Labelexpo.

Pat Fairley, wife and business partner of Labels & Labeling founder Mike Fairley, has passed away.
Pat worked with Mike in the foundation of L&L and right through the merger with Clive Smith and Labelexpo, before retiring from Tarsus in 1998 after almost 20 years with the company.
Said Mike Fairley, ‘Pat worked on the accounts side of L&L from the very beginning, and in the early years we both spent many hours stuffing magazines into envelopes. She was also the sole secretarial and office manager support for the first five years, as well as travelling to many Labelexpo shows and FINAT Congresses. She even came to Australia, America, Switzerland, Finland, Brussels, when I visited the likes of Assta Labels, Mark Andy, Gallus and Raflatac, and knew most of the senior people in the major companies at that time.’
Pat’s funeral takes place at West Herts Crematorium on Monday 28th April. Donations can be made in memory of Pat to Colostomy UK at the following:
