Tom Gent joins CMYUK as service and installations engineer

The Q-status Zund engineer will work with JWEI JCUT digital cutting tables and EFI industrial printing technology

CMYUK appointed Tom Gent to its team as a senior service and installations engineer. Gent will be primarily working with JWEI JCUT digital cutting tables and EFI industrial printing technology. He will report directly to Neil Roberts, manager of CMYUK’s service department.

Gent brings experience from his previous role at Zund, where he worked for seven years. During his time there, he gained Q-status by becoming one of a small number of engineers in the world trained to work on Zund’s Q-Line cutting systems.

Prior to Zund, Gent worked as an engineer in the printing sector of the production workflow. He has worked with a variety of print brands as well as specializing in the build and maintenance of bespoke printing equipment.
