Wausau Coated Products, a manufacturer of adhesive-based label products, has named Steve Luedke as the new vice president of technology and engineering.

With over 25 years of experience in labeling and packaging, Luedke joins the Wausau team after working in various positions at major companies, such as WS Packaging Group, MCC Label and Innovairre.

According to Ben Reif, president and owner of Wausau Coated Products, the company is thrilled to have Luedke as its new vice president of technology and engineering.

Reif believes that Luedke’s industry knowledge and engineering expertise will benefit the organization greatly.

Furthermore, it is believed that Luedke’s familiarity with Wausau's product development process, gained during his 20-year tenure as a customer of the company, will be valuable in his new position.

Luedke is enthusiastic about joining Wausau Coated Products and using his industry experience to support and expand the business.

‘I was always impressed with their ingenuity and willingness to put the research and development time and resources into unique product ideas that we brought to them. It’s a great business model that I feel sets them apart from other suppliers in this space, and I’m excited for the opportunity to use my industry experience to help support and grow the business,’ he said.

In his new position, Luedke will oversee research and development, technical compliance, equipment capability and quality control.
