Delfortgroup increases release base paper prices

Delfortgroup, a producer of specialty papers, has increased prices of its release base papers. The company manufactures release base papers at its paper mills in Dunafin, Hungary, Tervakoski, Finland, and Feurstein, Austria.

Fabrizio Gaiero, business director, said: ‘The consolidated hike in manufacturing costs of release base paper leads to the necessity for further price increase; a minimum increase of 80 euros per ton is going to be effective from May 2011. Our outlook is still for a continuous upward trend of papermaking costs in the remaining part of the year so further price adjustments are to be expected accordingly.’
