H.B. Fuller showcases labeling adhesives at Labelexpo
Company shows Swifttak PS 8405, the Gel-Tac products and Earthic range of adhesives for circular economy
H.B. Fuller, an adhesives company, will showcase several labeling adhesives around sealing, seaming, and repairing for enhanced sustainability, at Labelexpo Europe 2023.
First product in the line is the Swifttak PS 8405, a water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) with non-water whitening properties. It gives a PET label with a no-label look and offers many benefits, such as high resistance to water whitening to help labels maintain their appearance, even in challenging environments and temperatures. This adhesive provides clarity along with optimized peel, tack, and durability properties. It is also ideal for applications where aesthetics matter, as Swifttak PS 8405 offers a blend of functionality and ‘no look’ transparency.
Another range of product the company will showcase at Labelexpo is the Gel-Tac products, based on water-based acrylic, pressure-sensitive microsphere technology. These adhesives can be effortlessly removed without leaving visible residue, markings, or damage. With its ready-to-go formulation, photo albums, consumer advertising, masking tapes, wall or window decals, graphics, wallpapers, liner-less labels, and tape constructions can be repositioned or replaced.
The company will also showcase its recently launched sustainable product range, Earthic. Swiftmelt Earthic 9010E is its circular hot melt PSA for labels that is a near-zero CO2 pressure-sensitive adhesive that helps lower overall CO2 operations impact while responding to the demanding packaging requirements. The product works on a wide range of substrates and excellent adhesion at low temperatures, and it is based on 80 percent fossil-free adhesive.
H.B. Fuller’s customization capabilities focuses on addressing both business needs and industry requirements toward a more circular economy.
The company is exhibiting at Hall 6 Booth 6D11 at Labelexpo Europe from September 11 to 14.
