MACtac joins NPTA

Pressure-sensitive adhesives supplier MACtac has joined the National Paper Trade Association (NPTA), complementing its current member mills and merchants.

MACtac joins NPTA

NPTA is an association for the paper distribution industry, and MACtac, a global supplier of pressure-sensitive adhesives, is a subsidiary of Bemis Company, the largest flexible packaging supplier in North America. MACtac graphic products are offered worldwide for a variety of applications from vehicle and building wraps to point-of-purchase displays and includes locations in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

NPTA said the addition of MACtac provides greater geographic diversity and new networking opportunities between its members.

NPTA chief executive officer Kevin Gammonley said: ‘The addition of MACtac to the NPTA membership benefits the entire organization. The depth and breadth of services that it offers is an excellent complement to our current member mills and merchants.

‘We are excited to work with all of our members to foster growth opportunities – it is essential to the continued strength of the paper and print industry.’

Rick Moore, senior director, marketing, distribution products, at MACtac, said: ‘As a leading supplier and integral part of the paper industry, MACtac felt we had a responsibility to be a part of the leading organization that advocates on behalf of the paper mills and merchants.

‘MACtac recognizes that we are a part of the value chain, and for us to network and continue to be on top of the trends, we needed to be a member of NPTA. We see a lot of value in it. We are delighted to have MACtac represented alongside all the other organizations who are members of NPTA.’
