Pro Carton makes call for entries to student design award

Pro Carton has made a call for entries to its student design competition, which honors new, as yet unrealized design ideas in the field of cartonboard in Europe.

The International Pro Carton Design Award is targeted at students, with the deadline for entries falling on June 5, 2014. Two categories are to be contested, cartonboard packaging and other cartonboard applications, and 2014 will mark the fifth time the International Pro Carton Design Award competition has been staged.

The award ceremony will be held at the ECMA Congress 2014 in Naples, Italy at an awards party on September 18. The awards will be presented together with the Pro Carton/ECMA Awards.

The 2013 Pro Carton/ECMA Award winners were announced at this year’s ECMA Congress, and exhibited at Labelexpo Europe 2013 as part of the Package Printing Workshop feature area.
