Condat obtains ISO 50001 certification

Condat’s coated paper mill has obtained ISO 50001 energy management system certification. The Condat mill is located on the banks of the Vézère river, in the Périgord region of France.

The certification entails the efficient use of available energy sources, thus contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Condat, part of the Lecta Group, has adopted best practices to ensure sustainable industrial development, including ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental certifications, FSC and PEFC chain of custody certifications, ISO 9001 quality management certification, and, now, the ISO 50001 energy management system certification that the mill has secured.
