Flint Group, a provider of consumables and equipment for the print and packaging industries, has pledged its commitment to the science-based targets initiative (SBTi), which aims to ensure companies reduce their greenhouse gas emissions in line with science-based targets. These targets are considered aligned with the Paris Agreement's decarbonization goals.

Flint Group CEO Steve Dryden said: 'Committing to the SBTi process is a significant step for Flint Group, which is accelerating its progress towards a more sustainable, lower-carbon future.'

He added that the commitment benefits customers, suppliers, and Flint Group while supporting partners in achieving their own sustainability goals.

Flint Group is focused on reducing the environmental impact of its products and helping customers optimize their production processes to decrease emissions. Dryden concluded, 'We are embracing the SBTi process because we are passionate about proactively collaborating with customers and suppliers in a pragmatic and measurable way to reduce overall emissions.'
