Technicote Acquires the RF Xpress Roll Program Division of Russell-Field Paper

Technicote Inc., a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive adhesive roll label materials, officially acquired the RF Xpress Roll Program Division of Russell-Field Paper on October 8, 2002. Russell-Field Paper’s RF Xpress Roll Program was the industry’s first company to offer a comprehensive offering of non-adhesive materials marketed to the narrow web tag and label industry. The new division of Technicote, the ‘Russell-Field Xpress Roll Program’, will officially begin converting and distributing from the Terre Haute, Indiana facility January 1, 2003. ‘We are able to provide our customers with cost effective programs to ‘bundle’ their non-adhesive and adhesive purchases with one company. As a result, our customers will have the ability to lessen their vendor base, lower per unit freight costs and save money on cost of materials’, comments David Field - former VP of Russell-Field Paper and business manager for the newly acquired division of Technicote. The company plans to incorporate the Russell-Field Xpress Roll program into all seven manufacturing and distributing locations throughout the United States and Mexico.
