Cerm MIS to integrate with Screen Equios

The integration between Cerm’s MIS and Screen’s Equios facilitates a fully automated label production process.

Cerm has named Screen Graphic Solutions as its new Premium Integration Partner, recognizing the seamless integration of Screen’s technology with Cerm's MIS to create an efficient, automated workflow that enhances productivity.

Cerm focuses on providing comprehensive Management Information Software (MIS) that streamlines the entire production process—from pre-production to printing, finishing, and shipping.

Screen has been selected for this partnership due to its contributions to the label printing industry. Its Equis workflow management software is compatible with Cerm’s MIS, enhancing the automation of label production. ‘The decision was obvious,’ said Peter Heyse, Cerm's director of product management. ‘They are a perfect fit to become our next Premium Integration Partner.’

This partnership builds on a decade of successful collaboration, starting with the installation of Screen’s Truepress Label L350UV press in Springfield, UK.

The integration between Cerm’s MIS and Screen’s Equios facilitates a fully automated label production process. Cerm’s MIS converts customer orders into Job Definition Format (JDF) files, triggering a seamless workflow into Equios. This setup reportedly minimizes operator intervention and can reduce production time by up to 74 percent.

Cerm selected Screen based on five key criteria including business automation, bi-directional data exchange, successful customer integrations, quality documentation, and exceptional customer support. Screen excels in all these areas, ensuring our clients benefit from the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.

‘Our existing deep integration makes adopting our MIS quick and seamless, enhancing productivity across their entire workflow almost immediately. This integration doesn’t require any onsite research. It is a proven solution that is available out of the box, and that is highly appreciated by multiple customers,’ added Heyse.

With Screen joining its network of Premium Integration Partners—alongside ABG, Esko, and Hybrid Software—Cerm can now reportedly automate nearly every step of the label production process.

Sebastiaan Hermans, marketing manager at Cerm, added: ‘As we continue to expand the list of Premium Integration Partners and the more we work together with Screen’s Equios workflow, the more in-depth the integration between our solutions becomes, then both systems can be further streamlined with our other Premium Partners, and the result is a better final product for our shared clients.’
