Esko and Canon collaboration to optimize digital label printing
Collaboration to leverage Esko's expertise in workflow automation, color management and pre-press software and Canon's digital label printing technology.
Esko has formed a strategic collaboration with Canon USA to provide an integration between its software and Canon's upcoming LabelStream LS2000 inkjet press, previewed at Labelexpo Americas 2024.
The association leverages Esko's expertise in workflow automation, color management, and pre-press software and Canon's digital label printing technology. This combination is aimed at providing label converters with an end-to-end technology designed to help them streamline production and reduces time to market.
The key highlights of the partnership include an integration of Esko’s software suite including Automation Engine, Color Engine and Studio, can be integrated with the LabelStream LS2000 inkjet press. This integration will offer users a unified workflow that can help them improve efficiency, accuracy and flexibility in the label production process.
The collaboration will enable expansive automation of label production workflows, from design to print, designed to help reduce manual intervention, minimize errors and speed up printing times and increase productivity.
Canon's inkjet printing technology, when paired with Esko’s color management tools, is designed to provide users with the ability to produce consistent, vibrant and precise color reproduction across label designs.
