Packaging takes flight - Porto (Portugal)

During a fleeting visit to Portugal the week before Christmas 2014, I was able to take in some of the delights on offer at Porto airport.

This included both regional and international products, with Versace perfume well showcased with focused lighting accentuating the design of the packaging.

Local Portuguese products on offer ranged from cakes and sweet treats to cured meats.

 

As you might expect, port was a big element of the retail experience for travelers passing through Porto airport so I made sure to capture some of the best and most interesting examples I could see.

There was even limited edition Graham's Ne Oublie (the bottle featured second on image carousel, top), which was in luxury packaging befitting of its four-figure price tag.
