Inkmaker appoints Bart Wentges as general manager of Swesa
Inkmaker Group has named Bart Wentges as the new general manager of its recently acquired dispensing company, Swesa Dosiersysteme in Eltville, Germany, effective January 1, 2021.
In addition to expanding Swesa into being Inkmaker Group’s premium dispensing brand, Wentges will continue to manage sales of Rexson Systems and Vale-Tech as per his previous role and all the group’s brands, from the Germany-based office.
Wentges has been in the dispensing industry since 1995, previously with Vale-Tech, where he was one of the three shareholders. He later moved to Rexson Systems after they acquired Vale-Tech. Most recently, Wentges managed sales activities in Benelux, Germany, and Eastern Europe for the Italian Inkmaker Group, which acquired the businesses of both Vale-Tech and Rexson Systems in 2019.
‘On behalf of the board, we are pleased to name Bart Wentges as our choice of general manager for Swesa. Bart has over twenty-five years of experience in the dispensing field, we are confident that, with his knowledge of the region and track record of past achievements, our Group will stand to benefit substantially,’ said Christophe Rizzo, CEO of Inmaker Group in EMEA and Americas.
‘Over recent years, Inkmaker Group has managed to successfully increase its business in Germany. Now with Swesa, a specialized German company whose customized automated dosing-systems offer great potential for expansion into new sectors, and with Bart’s involvement, our Group will look to expand that market-share within Germany, Benelux, and the Eastern European countries. Additionally, with the backing of Inkmaker Group’s network and resources, we will be able to offer our premium “Made-in-Germany” brand Swesa to clients across the globe,’ added Rizzo.
Swesa’s production facilities, located in Eltville near Frankfurt am Main, will enable Inkmaker Group to produce, sell, distribute, and service all their brands directly from Germany. To meet this demand, plans are currently underway to expand the existing premises.
Bart Wentges succeeds Roland Steinberg, who, as the former owner of Swesa, will stay on in an advisory role.
‘I am grateful to have been offered this opportunity, and I greatly look forward to managing Swesa, as well as the sales for Rexson Systems, Vale-Tech, and all of the group's brands in the area. I see it as my challenge, together with the team at Inkmaker Group, to bring all our brands to the next level,’ commented Wentges. ‘Roland Steinberg has, for the nearing twenty years that he owned Swesa, built an impeccable and solid German-made brand of which I am proud to continue and build upon.’
