AWA confirms release liner conference in November
AWA Alexander Watson Associates has confirmed the return of in-person physical events, including the AWA Global Release Liner Industry Conference and Exhibition 2021, being held on November 15-17, 2021, in Chicago.
This unique conference, now in its 21st year, and the annual meeting place for the release liner industry, is dedicated to sharing ideas, learning about market developments, solving problems, and networking with colleagues across the value chain and all release liner application areas.
With over twenty sponsors, the conference in Chicago will gather the industry together with extensive networking opportunities, tabletop exhibitions, industry leadership panel discussions with CEOs and top executives, debating the industry challenges of today and tomorrow.
As a complement, AWAVirtual will host a dedicated virtual exhibition page. AWA will conduct additional pre-event networking opportunities to ensure every delegate can book onsite meetings and participate in interactive roundtables in advance.
The AWA Global Release Liner Industry Conference and Exhibition 2021 in Chicago will be a special edition celebrating the 50th Anniversary of AWA Alexander Watson Associates.
‘The program, running from November 15 to 17, will host the CELAB meeting, the AWA Release Liner Industry Leadership Award, the special keynote of Julie A. Schertell, CEO of Neenah, the Industry Leadership Panel Discussion, and provide important updates on capacity and demand dynamics of materials including pulp and paper, resin films and silicone,’ said Francesco Ticca, manager of AWA Conferences and Events. ‘Our experts will provide in-depth analysis on current trends, issues, and solutions on release liner recycling and sustainability and a comprehensive market assessment across all release liner application segments.’
Furthermore, the conference will build on the success of the previous events and the high demand of conducting business conversations in person by extending further the spaces and time for networking during the conference.
‘We have decided to offer a hybrid setup, the highlights of the conference will be available on streaming, and additional content will be available on-demand. We are sure that this way, AWA and AWAVirtual hybrid conference and exhibition will provide the best of both worlds for our delegates and sponsors,’ added Ticca.
The conference is taking place at the University Club of Chicago in Chicago, USA. Registration is now open on AWA’s website, where it will also be possible to view the complete program closer to the event date.
