Creation Reprographics to operate as Fujifilm Flenex-FW plate 'Center of Excellence'

After signing a new 4-year agreement to supply Flenex-FW solvent-free plates, repro specialist Creation is now inviting its customers, partners and peers across the flexo sector to see the plates in use at its headquarters in Daventry, UK.

The technology, the business believes, heralds the future of sustainable flexographic supply chains. Matt Francklow, managing director at Creation, explains, WWhen new technologies are introduced, it can often be difficult for printers to truly picture it in use day-to-day. Fujifilm and our team are inviting businesses across the print and packaging supply chain to come along and see the difference for themselves. We put Flenex-FW to good use for our own clients, taking advantage of its rapid makeready of just 40 minutes for more time on-press and increased productivity. The plate is comprised of a rubber-based compound, which means a 1% flat top dot can be achieved without complex systems to eliminate oxygen. In turn, this means lower dot gain than conventional polymer plates for absolute precision and incredible replicability. What’s more, better ink transfer produces noticeably cleaner and brighter print results. We are truly looking at the future of flexo - it has to be seen to be believed!'
