HP demonstrates new business innovations at Labelexpo India 2022

HP Indigo in collaboration with Technova Imaging Solutions will present opportunities for labels and packaging business to produce labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging on its wide-ranging portfolio at its stand G18 in Hall 3.

The HP booth will feature live demonstrations from the entire HP label and packaging portfolio including workflow, printing and converting. HP will also showcase a range of applications from worldwide converters transforming and growing business with HP Indigo’s Liquid Electrophotography (LEP)-based digital printing. 
 
Over the next few days of the show HP Indigo digital press portfolio will showcase new range of applications. Finished products produced on the HP Indigo 6K digital press during live presentations will be made available for visitors.  
 
The commercially available HP Indigo pack ready for labels solution will also be displayed. The solution enables production of high-resistance labels for food, household, industrial and chemical applications. A range of HP Indigo ElectroInks for labels and packaging is an additional highlight on the HP booth, with HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver. The ink supports a wide range of spot, metallic colors. 
 
HP SmartStream Collage, a new twist in automated, variable design for HP Indigo printing will also be promoted. Following the success of HP SmartStream Mosaic, HP SmartStream Collage offers designs by manipulating elements randomly for unlimited brand impact using logos and symbols.

This can help them to produce more at lower costs and measurable results.’ 
 
In the security zone, visitors have an opportunity for an immersive experience in the Security and Brand Protection zone. In this area visitors will see security and brand protection technologies including new and exclusive covert serialization with HP Indigo ElectroInks Invisible, unique layered brand protection with micro-text, anti-copy/anti-counterfeiting marks and track and trace. Visitors will also learn about HP Link technology which provides brand owners the ability to track each individual product unit through its entire lifecycle by creating and using a unique combination of marking technologies that create an adaptable and secure digital fingerprint.  
 
At Labelexpo India 2022, HP is offering hands-on demonstrations of the new print server, as well as showcasing additional applications to automate production with cloud-based workflow and automation software HP PrintOS including the new PrintOS Site Flow for labels and packaging, OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) monitoring, EPM Analyzer and the new HP PrintOS Marketplace. Cloud connectivity has been available for HP Indigo presses via PrintOS for some time now. HP Spot Master is now visible on PrintOS, enabling converters to share their color results with their staff as well as with brand customers.  
 
HP Indigo has also been working on AI/machine learning to promote pro-active maintenance for the global HP Indigo press fleet. ‘We can now predict failure instead of simply reacting to it,’ Appadurai said. ‘We recently launched xRServices, which uses augmented reality to enable our customers to quickly solve press technical issues using Google Glass technology. We have close to 200 customers around the world using it, and the demand is high as this simplifies the way we provide service and increase uptime.’ 
 
Live sessions 
 
During the show, HP will also host live sessions every day with HP industry experts, taking visitors through a journey of growth, new technologies and how to transform business, ending with a live demonstration on how to produce a digital label or shrink sleeve in minutes. Visitors will also be able to meet Indigo customers, media partners and vendors at HP booth. 
 
Live demonstrations will take place daily at on November 10, 11, 12 and 13 at 11:00 am, 12.30 pm, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm and last one at 4:30 pm.
