TLMI open for sustainability and print awards submissions
TLMI has opened 2021 Print Awards and Calvin Frost Sustainability Awards competitions for submissions. Winners will be announced at this year’s in-person TLMI Annual Meeting, taking place in October in Naples, FL.
This year marks the association’s 44th Print Awards competition. Every year narrow web converters from across the globe submit hundreds of entries to be considered for the coveted Best in Class and Best in Show honors. The competition celebrates the industry’s finest package printing in a range of print process categories, including flexo, letterpress, offset, multi-process printing, and digital. In addition, non-pressure sensitive categories, including unsupported roll labels as well as cut and stack are also represented. The submission deadline for entries is July 16, 2021.
TLMI’s Calvin Frost Sustainability awards, now in their 16th edition, have been redesigned to recognize all levels of sustainability efforts. Each award level is open to any TLMI supplier or converter member, and the submission deadline is August 27, 2021. This year’s winners will be published in the Sustainable Brands newsletter for the first time, placing winning companies in front of thousands of brand owners and CPGs.
‘Once again the association is inviting our members to submit their hard work to be recognized and honored,’ commented TLMI’s president, Linnea Keen. ‘After what has been an unprecedented year, all of us at TLMI is looking forward to seeing our members at the Annual Meeting in October and, of course, part of that meeting will include featuring and celebrating some of the best-in-class applications printed in our industry in addition to honoring an esteemed group of companies’ sustainability practices and stewardship stories.
‘Winning one of these awards is a tremendous accomplishment and one that enables the winners to feature their awards in their own marketing, sales and brand messaging materials. I encourage all of our members to submit applications for consideration in this year’s competitions, and I look forward to seeing and celebrating with the winners at our in-person Annual Meeting in Florida this October.’
