Konica Minolta prepares to welcome over 1,000 retailers at its European Leadership Campus 2019 in Copenhagen Denmark

This year the main theme of ELC is ‘Rethink Your Scope’ - inviting attendees to consider both the challenges and the opportunities presented to them and their customers by digital transformation. Konica Minolta will therefore focus on Workplace Hub, an IoT technology for the connected workplace that helps businesses to simplify their IT infrastructure.

‘We are delighted to welcome our channel partners at our European Leadership Campus’, said Keiji Okamoto, president of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. ‘Our theme this year, ‘Rethink your Scope’, is both an invitation and a challenge to ourselves and our partners alike. Together, we can question the status quo and realize exciting new opportunities. As a company, we are perfectly positioned to usher in the new era of the ‘Connected Workplace’. By rethinking the nature of work, we are providing solutions such as Workplace Hub that epitomize our vision to bring together people, spaces and devices. At the ELC 2019, we will show our valued partners how we are empowering them to bring this transformation to their customers.’

Konica Minolta will also present insights into key market trends as well as the company’s outlook to address the emerging opportunities.

‘The European Leadership Campus is much more than a conference’, said Olaf Lorenz, general manager of the International Marketing Division at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. ‘The campus format allows for a real exchange of knowledge with our valued trade partners. Attendees will be able to engage with both the visionary and the specific as well as forward-looking presentations on themes such as the evolution of the ‘Connected Workplace’ or the challenge of fake news, for which we are offering practical business seminars. These will explore how our retail partners can benefit from the sales opportunities presented by new solutions such as Workplace Hub, augmented reality products and Konica Minolta solutions, designed to support more sustainable business processes.’

In line with Konica Minolta’s deep commitment to sustainability, the congress will be completely carbon-neutral as all emissions will be compensated for, including all overnight stays and travel activities of all guests and Konica Minolta crew members, meals and drinks, transportation of display items, waste, cleaning of textiles and even exhibition materials.
