Konica Minolta has announced the appointment of Rob Ferris as the new CEO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK

Prior to joining Konica Minolta, Ferris was a key part of the executive leadership team at Canon UK and Ireland. He has held numerous leadership roles across the business over the last 19 years, most recently as country director, sales and professional services and was responsible for the Office and Professional Print business groups.

‘We are proactive in addressing customer needs and corporate responsibilities, to meet the wider socio-economic and business changes taking place in the world today. Konica Minolta has a rich heritage of innovation and we have been transforming from a predominant provider of print and image-based technologies into a key provider of digital IT services, focusing on innovation, data and added value,’ said Lars Wørzner, managing director, Region North at Konica Minolta. ‘Rob is the perfect person to lead Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK continued evolution to a digital IT services company. He has a proven track record of maximizing business performance and delivering against profitability and growth targets, along with a burning passion for developing winning teams and enabling talented professionals to reach their full potential.’

‘Konica Minolta has embarked on a very exciting journey, with a powerful long-term vision and strategy to realign its focus from a tradition of printing excellence, to a far broader IT services approach, fully supporting, transforming and simplifying the way its customers run their business systems,’ commented on his new role Rob Ferris. ‘This proactive and transformational process is in marked contrast to our competitors, demonstrating a firm understanding and commitment to delivering a holistic solution which meets market demands, but also respects the wider responsibilities we have to society and the environment.’
