Lundberg Tech launches 160-series all-in-one waste handling unit
Similarly to its predecessor, the 160-series is available in three configurations, each tailored to specific waste handling needs.

Lundberg Tech has launched 160-series, an all-in-one waste handling unit, marking a significant advancement in its commitment to provide efficient waste handling products.
Building on the proven success of the 140-series — with more than 800 installations over the past 15 years, including models like the WasteTech 140, TrimCompactor 140, and MatrixCompactor 140 — the new 160-series meets the evolving demands of modern production environments.
It features enhanced separator capacity with the upgraded separator, optimized for higher speeds and wider formats, ensuring easy integration and performance in fast-paced production settings.
The new specialized anti-static painting helps to minimize static electricity, making it suitable for handling light and thin plastic waste.
The latest nit also features an improved filtering system, with even better and more user-friendly filtering options than its predecessor. This simplifies maintenance and ensures optimal performance.
Similarly to its predecessor, the 160-series is available in three configurations, each tailored to specific waste handling needs.
The WasteTech 160 offers a comprehensive trim and waste handling with options for an exchangeable bag or an endless TubeBag, allowing continuous operation and effortless waste disposal.
The TrimCompactor 160 features the WasteCompactor 250 for additional waste volume reduction, minimizing storage requirements and disposal frequency.
Lastly, the MatrixCompactor 160 is specifically designed for adhesive and label matrix waste. This unit also incorporates the WasteCompactor 250, ensuring efficient handling of sticky materials.
The latest 160-series delivers a range of advantages, such as maximizing return on investment, automating waste capture, conveyance, cutting, collection and compaction, allowing production lines to run at full capacity with minimal manual intervention.
‘The Lundberg Tech 160-series streamlines waste and can be used for a wide range of waste handling applications, including capturing and cutting endless trims from slitting, printing, packaging and converting applications. By integrating one of our waste handling solutions into your operations, you ensure smooth, efficient production and help improve the overall equipment effectiveness,’ said the company in a statement.
