AWA prepares for smart labeling seminar in September

The seminar, organized in collaboration with TLMI and AIPIA, will offer market insights spanning the entire smart labeling value chain.

AWA Alexander Watson Associates, a market intelligence company specializing in the printing industry, has been preparing for a seminar in cooperation with TLMI and AIPIA, which will provide market insights from across the smart labeling value chain.

The seminar, which will be held on September 8 and 9 at Hyatt Rosemont just before Labelexpo Americas 2024 in Chicago, will be one of three concurrent sessions on specialist topics developed in collaboration between AWA, TLMI, and AIPIA.

The program will feature keynote presentations and panel discussions on digital transformation, smart technology advancements, die-cutting and the empowerment of consumer-packaged goods.

A round table discussion with industry and technology leaders will address the future of smart and intelligent labeling, while a panel discussion will cover the challenges of implementing and optimizing smart and RFID labels.

The smart labeling seminar's sponsors and leaders include Avery Dennison, Beontag, Checkpoint, Digimarc, Experience is Everything, GS1, BL.INK, Maxcess, Systech, and more. They cover a range of technologies driving the smart labeling sector forward.

The welcome reception on September 8 will provide a networking opportunity. Craig Miller, president of MCC, will give a keynote presentation, followed by introductions by Andy Thomas-Emans, strategic director of Labelexpo and representatives of other host organizations.

The attendees of the AWA Seminar Series can receive a special 20 percent discount to attend Labelexpo Americas 2024 (discount for registration, conference and networking) commencing after the special AWA Seminar Series.
