Driving collaboration in the pandemic
With the implementation of the Covid-19 lockdown, most businesses ceased operations, and set out on a completely unanticipated voyage of preparation for the commercial consequences of the pandemic. South Africans, however, have shown assertiveness in finding different ways of doing business through collaboration, swift reaction and creative entrepreneurial ventures.
Glass Decorations jumped into gear, under strict lockdown specifications, to meet demand for essential pharmaceutical and food packaging.
However, as co-owner Corinne Horn, points out, Glass Decorations specializes in creating safe, beautiful and expressive packaging for all industries.
The company offers various decorating processes including silkscreen printing, foiling and color coating directly on to bottles, jars and drinking glasses, utilizing various inks. Pressure-sensitive labeling, sleeve application and product repacking for retail purposes form part of its extended service offering.
