Eclipse launches LF220 LAS laser finishing machine

The machine's variable data QR code integration automates and streamlines complex label shape conversions.

Eclipse Label Equipment, label finishing systems provider, has introduced intelligent print label finishing with the LF220 LAS laser finishing machine.

This revolutionary technology enables unparalleled flexibility in label production runs, utilizing QR codes to dynamically adjust job types on the fly.

In a recent video demonstration, John-Paul Burton, a spokesperson for Eclipse Label Equipment, showcased the machine’s unique capabilities in variable data label printing and selective label finishing.

‘We are currently printing in-line, on-demand, with automated conversion of job types in real-time,’ said Burton. ‘For example, the LF220 LAS can cut one shape first, like a square, and immediately switch to another, like a circle, without stopping the production process, this is enhanced by the machines ability to select sub folders and print a selection of all different jobs.’

The LF220’s variable finishing system works seamlessly to deliver labels of different shapes and formats in a single production run.

With its integration of variable data QR codes, the machine can automate and streamline job conversions of the most complex selection of label shapes, improving both efficiency and output with no input from the operator.

According to Burton: ‘This technology is something different to other machines in the marketplace, making it a game-changer for businesses seeking greater production flexibility.’

The LF220 LAS laser finishing machine’s variable data printing functionality allows label producers to meet the growing demand for more personalized and complex label designs, without compromising on speed or accuracy.

‘We are excited to offer this industry-first capability to our customers,’ Burton continued. ‘No other solution in the marketplace provides this level of versatility in label production.  We believe this will help our customers stay ahead of the curve and remain competitive in today’s rapidly evolving market.’
