Rotocon secures new MPS press orders
The two EF 430, 10-color flexo presses are highly automated and customized, and feature the MPSConnect and Performance Program
Rotocon has obtained two more orders for the MPS EF next-generation flexo press. Each press features a 430mm web width, 10 colors and MPSConnect with the Performance Program to enhance press performance.
The MPS EF next generation is a thoroughly automated flexo printing press, developed from the successful groundwork of six prior EF platform generations. This highly modular press is designed with multi-web functionalities, remarkably steady web transport and the MPS Ultra-flex rail system to incorporate various converting modules.
The MPSConnect and Performance Program allows for real-time data collection of all printing and operation-related processes such as web speed, web tension, power usage, register and pressure settings, alarm messaging, humidity and environmental temperature. A dedicated MPS performance team assists customers in setting objectives and measures to improve press performance.
Rotocon recently received orders for two more MPS EF next-generation flexo presses for printers in Johannesburg—an EF 430 8-color fully automated press for TubePac International printing lami tube material and an EF 340 at Redfern Labels, marking the 30th MPS press installation in South Africa.
Rotocon has served as the appointed distributor in South Africa for MPS since 2012. 'MPS' reputation of high-quality flexo presses known for ease of operation, exceptional print quality and high return on investment ratio is why we chose to partner with them over ten years ago,' stated Michael Aengenvoort, Rotocon group chief executive officer. 'Since then, MPS has continued to drive press innovations with MPSConnect and their Performance Program offering the utmost in press productivity for label printers.
'In addition to new press sales, we have also assisted label printers source pre-owned MPS equipment, as these narrow web presses are built to last and print labels for decades.'
