GSE to focus on cutting waste and standardizing color at Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2023
GSE equipment will be available at the booth of its distributor, Techno Global Graphics
GSE has confirmed it will be showcasing its ink dispensing and management software for standardizing color quality and cutting waste in label and packaging printing at the upcoming Labelexpo Southeast Asia at the booth of its distributor, Techno Global Graphics.
‘Good management of ink and color-making processes is vital for lessening the impact of rising operating costs that label printers are facing in this tough trading climate,’ said Onno Deen, area sales manager at GSE. ‘Ink dispensing systems, for preparing accurate brand shades in precise quantities, give you repeatable color quality on-demand, without wasteful remakes – dramatically cutting ink consumption and material loss. Additionally, software programs are automating just about every ink-related process in the print workflow, from purchasing to reusing inks to batch tracing – cutting costs even further and potentially shortening lead times.’
GSE’s program of modular Colorsat ink dispensers can cut out waste, errors and delay in color preparation - potentially reducing ink usage by up to 30 percent. They are tailored to volume and application needs – including label, flexible packaging, carton and corrugated board printing.
The GSE Colorsat ink dispensers are available for UV, LED-UV, low-migration, water-based and solvent ink sets, and flexo, gravure and screen processes. They feature exchangeable pumps and valves and may optionally incorporate accessories, such as agitators and heaters, for optimally conditioning inks that supply the dispensing unit. Their modular design allows easy adaptation for handling new ink sets or reformulated inks.
A highlight of the GSE product showcase at the Techno Global Graphics booth will be the tabletop Colorsat FCS manual dispenser, ideal for small-scale dispensing.
GSE Ink manager software automates and streamlines ink processes, including managing ‘press return’ inks, creating new colors, performing color corrections, real-time stock level and job cost reporting, tracking of inks through the supply chain and data exchange with ERP systems. The latest addition to the software suite is GSE Hazard symbol printing software, for automatically creating warning labels for safely handling containers of spot colors in the printing house.
Techno Global Graphics, based in Bangkok, Thailand, is a partner in GSE’s global distribution network. Show visitors will be able to find the company at stand C4, February 9-11, 2023, at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.
