GMP Etiquettes acquires two Lemorau ICR3 450
Algerian label converter GMP Etiquettes has acquired two Lemorau ICR3 in 450mm web width version to further improve its delivery times and quality inspection.
GMP Etiquettes is a family owned company founded in 1991 and headquartered near Algiers. It currently operates three production sites based in the country’s capital with approximately fifty employees. The company managers, brothers Mahfoud and Mouloud Benhamdine, are currently developing the fourth site.
‘The ICR is a very powerful and very simple machine to operate. It is equipped with this camera control tube scan system to detect defects and lack of label. Thanks to this equipment we managed to significantly improve our delivery times,’ said Mahfoud Behamdine. ‘I would also like to thank the Lemorau team for its professionalism and detailed advice we received.’
The Lemorau ICR 3 is an inspection, slitting and rewinding machine is able to operate at maximum speed of 200 m/min (656 ft/min) and includes paper break detection, air trim removal, flag detection sensor, online remote assistance and reverse jog as standard features. Both Lemorau ICR3 developed for GMP Etiquettes were equipped with the optional video 100 percent inspection system as well as clear on clear sensor and double rewinding.
GMP Etiquettes has also acquired two Lemorau ER400 roll lifters and a Lemorau CTA1500 automatic core cutter.
