Hulco Printers adds GM finishing unit
Louisiana, US-based print business Hulco Printers has added DC350NANO finishing unit from Grafisk Maskinfabrik to keep up with the substantial growth the company has been struggling with a large order-backlog to serve the increasing demands from its label customers.
Obie Hulin, owner of Hulco Printers, decided to replace their two smaller units in January 2022 with a DC350NANO finishing unit from GM.
Obie Hulin said: ‘We have stepped up our game and doubled our production capacity with this one unit, and we are now years ahead in production efficiency. With the smoothness in the design, craftsmanship, and the quality in finishing, the GM Nano is a Ferrari in our facility!
‘The support from Jim and Phillip in GM has been no less than outstanding! Everything they promised from the start they have delivered... and more. The process from installation and training to running in full production was such a smooth transition, and we have learned so much from them. I can recommend both the machine and the support from GM to anyone I know.’
Today, Hulco Printers serves mainly the food industry in South Louisiana. Founded in 1972 by Odey and Joannie Hulin, Hulco Printers continues to thrive as a second-generation business under the leadership of Obie Hulin since 1993.
